Default deals on sti's

A mate of mine is looking to buy a new sti and wants one of the old model (the one just being replaced).

Are there any deals on at the moment with dealers trying to get rid of new cars from old stock?

cheers

take a look at the subaru official site and their proven sales section, lists all cars on their books and when i was looking last night (praying for the lotto numbers to come up) seems that about 23k will get you a delivery mileage dealer registered new sti

you'll be 2nd owner but **** that, you've got a virtually new car

Ok ... just been talking to virgin cars and they can do a brand new (although pre reg) sti for 21k

The cars from them are parellel imports and come with the full 3 year warranty and have the underseal etc...
They are sourced from France.

I asked them if they were authorized to sell them due to warranty implications and they said yes they are authorized subaru resellers so there will be no difficulties with warranty etc..

Does this sound right?

I would be grateful for comments on this as to whether this is a good deal etc

cheers

it does but for the 2k more id have a type uk. there has ben problems with warrentys with these imports recently on here. also with a uk u can get prodrive and dealer support etc... in a few years time a uk will be worth more than an import some prob not worth getting the import in the end

Have to agree that £2k isn't a big enough saving IMHO. This is from a multiple EU import buyer..!

I'm sure there are excellent deals to be had from UK dealers if you do the work of phoning around, not forgetting that PPP and 3 years servicing may also still be available..!

Delivery Mileage UK STi = £22499 (thats BEFORE you start haggling!)

At a friendly Subaru Main Dealer near YOU!

Forget an import .............. waste of money!!

There's lots of bargains at the dealers for 05 models.
IM are giving them a big incentive to register all 2005 models before the end of December.

I've just bought a 2005 WRX 300 with PPP
Delivery miles (actually 10) for £18k.
Got a bloody good deal on my trade in too.
Can't wait 'til Thursday.......
