It's a 'new age' STi. The GDB comes from the model code in the same way as GC8 is for a 'classic'.

The GDB is the chassis prefix for a New Age STI saloon, GDA refers to the WRX saloon. Im sure you can guess what a GGA and a GGB are.....?
