Default best sat nav for under 200 quid ???

been thinking of buying a proper unit as i have tomtom on a nokia 6600 but now got new phone is of no use to me

im off on a 300 mile drive sunday so i want to go buy a sat nav unit for 200 tomorrow what deals you seen in shops?

MMM, not an easy one to answer. If your budget would stretch to £250 you can get a Tom Tom 300, Tom Tom One and a Garmin I. These are the ones I am interested in because of the full postcode facility.

Pay £20-40 extra and get the Tom Tom one TomTom go 300 mate. No point getting something inferior for the sake of a few quid. £200 is still a lot of money.

Yes, but have you seen the size of the screen- it's tiny! The clarity of the voice guidance may be a concern too.

I'd want to see it in action....I'd still pay the extra for the TomTom go or One though, they're very well regarded.
