Default P1 v's STI PPP

Probably been covered a million times before guys, I know. But just to put a debate i'm having to bed... Can some of you please tell me which is the quicker... Not so much 0-60... More 0-100+.. I think the P1 is the quicker from the two, from experience and obviously weight issue. But I maybe wrong of course...
P.S. Sorry if this opens a can of worms...

Only guage I ever had was mucking around with a mate who has a 360 horse P1. Didn't appear to be anything in it ever though he had more power and less weight. Its mostly about reaction times really.
