I had mine (Cyprus import) done at 3000 miles as per the warranty booklet and Subaru Cyprus's instructions.

It is only a basic oil and filter change & check but will probably cost £120 ish at a main dealer.

If the wrx is the same as the STi then it comes with different oil from the factory. Once its run in at 1,000 miles it goes in for its first service where the oil is changed and you can then use the upper reaches of the rev range. If it costs more than £60 you are being ripped off.

IM not sure the "running in" oil applies any more - Subaru Cyprus basically said the oil didnt need changing until 9000 miles but I did it anyway.
There are plenty of threads about this - best thing is to do a search.

First service 1000 miles oil and filter change, check brake fluid, check brake pads and disks, check operation of lights, wipers, washers, check tyre condition and pressures. Did this myself without jeopardising my 3yr / 60,000 miles waranty with Liaco.
See the following link for more info from Liaco - especially note what they say about servicing intervals etc.
