Default Different exhaust on an STI PPP

Hello

Anyone taken off the Pro Drive back box on an 03 STI PPP and swapped it for a slightly louder one? My warranty is coming to its end and frankly the Pro Drive box is a little quite. I dont want it stupidly loud either.

Idea's?

Blitz NUR ha ha ha, only kidding..... I think a scoobysport, or H + S box may be fine or a hks hyper is not too loud but is louder than the prodrive item, or replacing the catted silencer just connected to the back box may make a small difference, just change the whole exhaust exhaust from the turbo back

My waranty has just ended also (just taken out a cheap 3rd party one for major stuff) - SO i have changed to an afteburner vortex system, basically it makes a nice growl of a noise but nothing OTT, some of them i tried were far too noisy and I do a few motorway miles and so didnt want anything too loud. Gets my vote anyway

if you go for a hayward and scott one we've got a group buy on at the moment in the gb section. finishes at the end of jan.

if you don't want it to be too loud when you do change your exhaust leave the centre cat on it and just change the back box or if you want to get rid of that for a couple of ponies fit a decat centre section. if you go for a resonated centre section it'll take the edge off the noise but not too much.

Had a vortex on my 03 STi and now on my 05 STi PPP. Highly reccommended mate.
