Hi folks, I am soon to take delivery of my new Impreza. It's a 55 plate WRX with the ProDrive kit and a WRX 300 Spolier fitted. The car has done 9000 miles so will be getting a good service by myself (Been a mechanic since leaving school @ 16, 35 now).
I work for a pretty well known car dealer in the Yorkshire area so have access to Geometry equipment etc which will also be used on the new delivery![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I am told it is good for almost 270bhp, can anyone shed any light on what else the ProDrive kit includes (Has a nice blue Intercooler pipe and says "ProDrive" on the tailpipe, it also has red Calipers)?
Has a Cat 1 Alarm with Immobiliser (With a Sigma Key Pad behind a dropdown flap on O/S of Car...Whats this do?) and also fitted with a RAC Trackstar tracker, does this need subscribing to?
I will also be buying a Disklok Cat 3 Steering Wheel cover and maybe even a post for the garage floor (Anything else I need?).
I was a little worried about the reports of theft etc, but as with ALL things, the good things are rarely reported on...But the bad are often posted. I am really looking forward to taking delivery and washing it every Sunday
Sorry for the ramble, thought I would say Hi and ask a few questions at the same time...D-an-W

@bob r - I did think of the problem with undesirables reading the site problem too, but just to say I will be taking every precaution I can to keep it secure.

OMG
I drove it back to our dealership this afternoon, theres NO going back now
I need to start enquiring about getting the Trackstar and stuff swapped over to my name now (Not taking it home until 1st Feb, don't want to waste 2 weeks Tax
).
How do you know the Trackstar is even working, do they test em periodically?
Oh...What Oil do you folks recommend, I am guessing Mobil1 in its "Never quite enough" 4L bottles?
Thanks again for all the replies, I will keep you posted of my progress...
