Default Super Lightweight STI?

I was just wondering ( and really this is more aimed at the hardcore STI crowd than anyone)...

If Subaru made a special edition ultra-hardcore MY06 STi with massive weight cuts by chucking out the air con, the abs, electric windows,stereo/speakers, had super lightweight interior door panels/carpet/no soundproofing etc, stuck on composite wings/boot/bumpers & bonnet, super light alloys, no underseal, basic rear seats etc etc pumped it to 330bhp with front intercooler and performance pack and brought the weight down to 1200kgs and charged £30K for it

That'd give about 275bhp per tonne making it extraordinarily deft :

Kind of a STI RS...

How many of you would want a car like that in this day and age or have the luxury creature comforts become 'just as important' as raw performance?

Mine was a fully trimmed 400bhp classic.

by May it will be a caged shell on four wheels, two seats with the same engine..

should see a "mild" improvment with what's been thrown out of it

Isn't the Motorsport Edition of the Spec C from Litchfields what we're on about here

"MY 06 Impreza WRX STI Spec C 16” Motorsport Edition - £23,995 OTR
(This model has 16” alloys, throw away interior, brakes and is only suitable for Motorsport)"

AFAIK that comes with none of the luxuries normally found (A/C, speakers etc).
