Hello everyone i keep hearing people on here saying how scoobys are nothing special when rolling.Either they have too much money or everyone who lives near them has ferraris.I am 22 years old my dad is on his third scoob and the first 2 were classics and they felt pretty special in my opinion more special than his new one. o4wrx. I am on the look out for one of my own soon and have looked and looked and looked. I love the look of the classic scoobs and fancy a wrx pref a 280bhp one or an evo 4. people have said that the evos are easier to maintain your self(cheaper).I anint bothered about fuel economy I just want the best possible mix of performance/handling and reliability. What shall I go for? £7000 MAX.

 

Should be able to get an sti 3/4 for that money. 300bhp! hmmmm!

 

Id look for an Evolution 4 RS; Grade4 with a nice low mileage. I dont think that Id consider buying a Lancer Evolution 4 in this country; they seem to be either ridiculously priced or ****-poor... Sometimes both!

97/98 wrx`s come with a vf22 as standerd

they do ok in the speed stakes IMO
mine did a 12.97 with the cat still in the downpipe LOL

some of them seam to have a factory boost/fuel cut of 1.45bar for some strange reason
