honest opinions please folks
I really love my car i have owned it 18months
now spent loads of money on it so far i have:
HKS filter
HKS boost controller
Bigger injecs
ported headers
3" full system no cats
4pot brakes
18in wheels
apexipowerfc ecu
front mount intercooler
clifford alarm
sard fuel reg
oil catchtank with breather mod
when i got it it had 75 kilometres on the clock.
put the kph to mph converter on it now it reads 82k
so its done 75000k's and 7000m.so not alot
mapped to 1.4 bar of boost for playing rarely
but run at 1 bar just about all the time
i ahve it in a workshop so i polish it every week
without fail.
prob is she's getting old do i sell it how it is take
everything off and buy a newer one put what i can on.
or think of it as a fine wine that matures with age.
here she is:

If you like it mate, and its running fine, Keep it. It'd be more hassle than it's worth trying to sell it!

This is good i thought everyone would say get rid just needed telling. really don't want to be the oldest car on the road.people saying cant afford a newer one when i can but just don't like finance and i know where i am with this one.then you get people saying they dont like the newer one and buy the classic again.respect to the subaru owners
i know people with evo's that say on mlr your a nobody unless you have a 6 or newer
thanks folks.

trouble is you'll get next to nowt if you sell it and if you put back to std you'll maybe recoup 1/3 of the outlay on the mods
if you're still happy with it, keep it. i can appreciate the age thing (it's playing on my mind too!) but it looks like a good example, so what extra would you have to spend to get a car/spec you'll be happy with?
i'm in a similar boat and the only way i'd be happy is with an 05 onwards STI, but i'd be looking at 10k plus of finace, so no go with that!
keep it, you know you wanna

I'd say the only thing that wants is a new set of rims. They're just a bit too fussy for my liking. I'd probably go for something with five chunky spokes. But that's me. Apart from that, it's a mint looking motor. Keep it!
