Default Sainsburys Car Cleaners

I parked the 300 in Sainsburys Horsham the other day and watched what had to be the most horid site, here myou go you have been warned!
The guys who wash your car whilst shopping for I think a fiver..........I watched an Audi being cleaned, the guy used a small bucket that was more like a mop bucket with the company advertising info on.
The car was FILTHY DIRTY with mud and debris all over.
The guy started to clean the car with a small rag by wiping the mud and dirt off with the cloth, NO RINSING whatsoever. All the bits and stones from the dirt were being scrapped and washed back onto the paintwork...NUFF SAID ............SHEER HARD CHEESE IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO THIS ROUTE.
I know it is not the guys fault, he is doing a job with limited space and equipment.

Nowt wrong with a bit of grit ..... gives it a nice 'T' Cut .....

I saw these lads and I just could not imagine how they could do it for £5, until you realise that it's an Albanian, with 1 bucket, a dishcloth and Sainsburys Basic washing-up liquid

I've seen exactly the same thing, in exactly the same place, sort of scraping the dry mud off, you could even hear the grating noises.

I'd rather my car stayed dirty.

I use a basic Karcher jet wash to rinse.
Then I use the yellow box contraption made by Karcher, which you fill with car shampoo the lock this to the main nozzle, this in tuern feed a perfect amount of wash and foam along with the water onto the car, great this is.
I use a sponge to give it a going over and then a water rinse.
I have one of those water squeejie things that had a long plastic handle and a rubber strip. Works alright but you cannot beat a good chamois!

You can beat a good chamois, by using the "squegee(sp?)" and then drying with a cotton towel. A Chamois can take wax off.

In hartcliffe way, Bristol

There is a drive through, hand wash for £5 you get a wash, wheel wash, window shine in and out, inside sills of your doors..etc.. and then a dry afterwards, and in all honesty they are really good (for a fiver you cant go wrong)

Please guys dont use sponges & chamois as they lock in drit & debris & will scratch the paint work

Please use Machine washable terry wash cloth & a big bath towel to dry (old bath towel washed without conditioner will dry the WHOLE car) Both these clothes can be washed after EVERY use & will be clean & grit free when next used!

Tip after you've washed it,Unclip one of the wiper blades and use it like a squege to remove most of the surfice water and then finish drying with a towel. My missis now hides the towels. She bought some lovely new white ones from m & s.She went out for the day and i thought i'd clean the car.The new set of various sized towels we ideal for drying and polishing.lolWhat a bolockin i got.lol
