Presume this is referring to Prodrive stickers and other branded stuff that is not genuine prodrive merchandise..

probably is the reason cos not a lot of companies like their name being made up somewhere else as another brand got removed as well cant remember what it was but i have seen it happen before.

Could be! They're not bothered about people saying their car has a PPP fitted. They are worried if someone rips off their logo or brand inferior goods that are clearly not Prodrive. You don't get to be the most successful independent motor racing company in the world without paying attention to detail and that includes making sure little ******* don't rip off your trademarks!

If they were to fill the gap with sensibly priced merchandise the 'grey' market wouldn't get a look in.
