Hi just a question that I know has probably been asked thousands of times but would could help me out a little.
I own a MY02 Bugeye and the only mods I have done are the performance panel air filter and a Ninja BB. I'm booked in at Xtreme Scoobies on Sat for a De cat Up and Downpipe and a Ecutek Remap. What sort of BHP and lbs ft should I be looking at? What BHP have you Bugeye owners had with these mods?
Thanks
Paul

I imagine at the moment with the backbox and and panel filter you'll be running a few bhp higher than standard, (I gained 7 bhp from a Magnex bb, decat centre pipe and GREEN panel filter).
Following your decat up/down pipes and remap you should be expecting somewhere between 270-285bhp I would think and a similar torque figure, (are you leaving in the centre cat?)
As a comparison, I'm getting 265bhp and 258 lb/ft torque since my ecutek remap, with the oe up/down pipes still in (MY01 WRX).
I'd be interested to know your results because I'm planning to go full decat sometime this year?

Just like to thank Xtreme Scoobies, Knowlsey and crew and Pat for a top service.
Had my MY02 remapped and a Decat up and downpipe fitted. What a difference
Can't beleive I didn't do it sooner. Need to get it on a rolling road now to see what I'm running.

My MY98 wagon with PPP and decat downpipe would not pass the MOT with the standard centre section put back.
Easiest solution is a sports cat downpipe, Sti PPP ones can be had for around £200, that's what I've fitted to my MY99 JDM Sti (with a H&S made joining piece) and it sailed through the MOT 2 weeks ago.
Also some places (don't know if XS do) offer an MOT service where they fit a double catt'd centre pipe for MOT purposes, then take it back off afterwards.
