Default what 4wd to buy for 10-15K...

After much abuse and many miles my step-fathers 97Impreza wagon has finally given up the ghost and become unecomical to repair, so is looking for something to replace it;

Must be 4wd, as lives and works, on small holding and a small estate, I can only think of a newer Impreza or say an Audi A4 quattro, any other suggestions?

funny you should say that because he used to have one of those to hack around the fields in, as well as a Brat pick up!

thanks, tbh he is not a fan of 'soft roaders' and likes to have a bit of a sport drive...The Octavia could be worth investigating as he is not bothered about what the neighbours think, mainly because he hasn't got any...

£15-16k will get him a brand new MY06 WRX Wagon from one of the importers. will be UK spec apart from a cat 1 alarm & locking nuts. you get 3 year warranty.

it'd be rude not to.
