Dealer Survey Part 2 - Lets improve the service
#1
I read the dealer survey with interest as I have suffered service from Suburu dealers ranging from poor through indiferent to excellent.
I wandered whether anyone would support me if I set up a true dealer survey. I reckon there are about 100 UK dealers grouped into 8 regions.
My thought was to create a simple survey breaking it down into sales, after sales and body shop (I had a very bad bodyshop experience.)
To maintain a level of objectivity (difficult I know) marks would be 1 to 3 where 1 is more than satisfied 2 is satisfied and 3 is disatisfied. More if you want.
Marks would be awarded for helpfulness of staff, cost, quality of service etc (more help with categories would be great).
After each service I would ask you to mail the details to me I will then collate all marks and average them out and place them on Scoobynet (Webmaster maybe we could have a seperate category for this).
Owners could then look at the survey to make comparisons within their areas.
Potentially if we get a big enough response we could mail the results to the dealers and create a league table. We may then push the poorer ones to improve service.
Maybe we could even copy the results to IM.
So as not to discriminate we could also do one for garages that service Imports although this maybe trickier but potentially more valuable.
I think sometimes we underestimate the power of Scoobynet. When my wife mentioned the magic word Scoobynet to the body shop manager at the garage they bent over backwards to put things right. Too late unfortunately I changed dealer.
Any thoughts???
