Rang him for advice about my old insurance company and he was happy to help and advise. By the end of the day I had got rid of my old company and started a policy with him.

A broker who actually knows about the car I want him to insure, excellent!

Do Schofields insure all Impreza's? I thought I saw somewhere (can't remember where) that they only insured P1's.

I will call them if they insure bog standard.

Thanks

Richard, they will do all Imprezas They had a special scheme for P1 drivers, which is probably where the confusion came from.

looks like someone has copied and pasted tom's number directly from his email signature

Now I'm not an expert on this and I'm sure Tom will correct me, but the situation with the P1 thing was this.

Scheme was setup via Independant Insuance, it was a special P1 scheme for P1 owners, there *might* have been exceptions to this rule, though I could not possibly comment.

Then Indy when down the tubes (we won't go into that as it'll make me shiver!)

Tom and Jeremy Pace @ Randall Pace Insurance (InsBro on here) got together to setup a new scheme for us impreza owners, it covers both uk, euro and jap imports. Plus it also covers modified cars.

I would recommend Tom & Jeremy's scheme to anyone looking for insurance, especially if you have modified or jap import cars. Ok they might not be the cheapest quote, but boy do they know their stuff. They both have impreza's and they know (and love?) them. Plus thier service is second to none! They make getting car insurance as pleasant as one could hope for.
