Who's who of scoobynet?
#1
Hi All
Would it be a nice idea to have a "who's who?" of scoobynet?
A page somewhere with a brief bit of background on some of the more prominent members of the board?
Or would this be an invasion of privacy?
thoughts?
regards

Sounds like a nice idea if it's not abused.
How would you define prominent?
Privacy needn't be invaded if background/history is kept at a scooby/car enthusiast relevant level.

Hi Rich
I was thinking we could have a nomination and voting process.
Maybe a registered user can nominate someone, then it needs to be seconded. Then if enough votes are received to make them a "ScoobyStar" then they get a write up.
I was only thinking of a tongue in cheak type of affair, so that people can see the character of the personalities of people that frequent the board.
Cheers

Slightly off-topic, but I'm slightly sad .
How about letting us order our user names embroidered on the clothes we are ordering? Is that feasable? I know I could always get the wife to stitch one of my name tags on the back, but then I won't have enough left for the new socks I expect this weekend.
Cheers

This sounds great and must be aimed @ ME!
I'm important
Great looking
witty and funny
fantastic lover (my idea of forplay is more than yelling 'BRACE YOURSELF DARLIN')
My posts are without doubt the bestest
I would be willing to let you to commission a biographer (@ your own cost) so's i could tell my story.
OH, missed out the fact i am a conmpulsive liar.
Like the idea though.

I didn't necessarily mean a biography or anything...
just a...

Winner of the longest known post describing the torque setting of an screw, which tools to use for it, how to test it, what benefits there are, and how much faster the one on his westie is!
That kind of thing!
Seriously, just something brief so that newbies can have a quick read to get up to speed?
Maybe a silly idea.

Not a silly idea.
I'd be interested in learning a little more about the regulars here - especially if I might want to:
1. Take advice.
2. Poke a little fun.
3. Ask for opinions based on experience.
4. Suggest meeting up for a beer. (???)
etc
