Default STi 5 Saloon vs. STi 5 Wagon - Differences?

I'm hearing conflicting things about any differences between an STi 5 Saloon and an STi 5 Wagon?! Things like the Bottom Arms and the 4 Pot brakes etc.

Can anyone confirm if there are any STi goodies that are NOT fitted to the Wagon (which is what I'm looking at) that are on the Saloon?

Cheers
Jon

Don't even consider the saloon mate, all lairy wings and stuff.
The Wagon is by far a superior vehicle, as will be confirmed shortly !

Well, no confirmation yet, but that just proves my point.

No one will argue I'm wrong

Basically yes, they are quite a bit stronger than the WRX or your Leggy
transmission, if it's at a good price, go for it.

you will find that the wagon (in most cases) has steel bottom arms and a steel bonnet unless they have been changed for the saloon parts.

i say in most cases cos you never know with these cars!!!

the main difference is wagons are MUCH cooler...not very objective but its my opinion

should have the same brakes, but as jonny gav said i'm not 100% sure whether they get the same weight saving on suspension and bonnet...ask the same question here as there are quite a few sti 5 owners on this thread; http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...ghlight=wagons

good luck.

If you want a Wagon, go for that.
Good for carrying things, very handy, especially if you have a dog.
There are minor differences but you would not be able to tell until you started looking hard.
From the driving experience you will not tell.
