Yes car is very nice...wheres this vid on here chaps i cant seem to find it and i have a little bit of a hagover which doesnt help!!

" On the road, the S204 is sensational. Inheriting a reworked 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder boxer engine from its predecessor, the S203, the car puts out 320bhp at 6,400rpm, while torque is 432Nm at 4,400rpm.

The 0-60mph sprint is expected to take around 4.5 seconds, and the top speed is 155mph.

From 3,000rpm, stronger mid-range torque means the driver can make better use of third gear, particularly in long corners, and still have plenty of revs for lightning exits.

Push it beyond 6,000rpm, however, and the retuned exhaust note invades the cabin as it takes on a primeval howl. The six-speed gearbox has short throws. But for a car costing upwards of £24,000 - that's £7,500 more than a standard Japan-spec STi

Youd expect to have your pants blown off, altough the S204 is quick out of the blocks, it's not explosive, and could do with another 50bhp"

Also remember the S204 is based on the STi not the Spec C and so is lardy by comparison

 

Isnt that called sound deadening?

 

Spec C had thinner panels, more alloy bits, lighter glass as well - it is not just sound deadening

Anyway who cares about the noise - it is lovely

 

Anyone know if that is an off-the-shelf stereo or one of Subaru's own? Does it sound any better than the standard STI pile of poo.

 

So how will this compare to the Spec C?

 

If you want pace buy a Spec C

If you want to be 'special' buy an S204

The difference is £7,000

For £7,000 you could make your Spec C VERY special

What price exclusivity - I believe I'm right in saying only 1 S203 ever made it into this country so don't expect to see many of these about in the uk

 

i like it, not to sure why certain people have to revolve around spec c, you have all told us all over and over. You want a hard core car, great, pat on the back, you want one of these fine, or an sti great, why do people have to say the same thing over and over, does it make you feel good to stand from upon high, making out your model is superior to others? Do your ***** get bigger?

The S204 looks great i think, not sure about the rear spoiler, but that could be changed i would think. I like the wheels and am also interested in the stereo it has, current sti one is crap, only beaten by the speakers!
