Default Fitting aftermarket headunit newage

Does anyone know if this kit I've seen advertised on ebay will be compatible with the new 2006 model imprezas?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MESE%3AIT&rd=1

Cheers
Frank

lol,

getting itchy i guess. Just weighing up the options if I go for one. Always looking for a bargain if I can grab one .

If you ever buy a scoob it's only worth going for STi in my opinion, WRX not fun enough... go the full hog and do it proper i say!

Part of me wants to go down the classic route

My MY06 already had this kit fitted new from Japan and is a genuine Scooby part. It now has a nice Pioneer unit running in it.

I put a double din Kenwood Monitor DVD thingy in. On the picture you will notice a frame holding it all together - this is original equipment and is holding your original headunit in place.

To fit, you need lift the back of the gear gaiter and pull. This will pull out the lower half of the centre console surround. You then need to tease the upper half off. Then its just a case of udoing some screws, swapping units and putting it back together.

Will take you 20 minutes.

I wish there was an In Car Entertainment section of this forum, with maybe an FAQ which could provide helpful advice...
