what are these called? and how do i remove?

Default what are these called? and how do i remove?

ive just ordered crystal front indicaters, but could do with removing these and color coding, any idea what there called and how they come off??

vents...wedges,maybe something else,but thats what they are generall called,to remove usea small flat blade screwdriver covered in cloth to protect the paintwork around them,and gently lever the edge,they will pop out very easily,paint and refit....easy peasy

or just take the indicators out and pop them out from behind - just done this on my MY00

Done this myself recently, as above really, they pop out, paint them then shove them back in.

If I can do it then it must be easy.

i know why they didn't colour code them! - especially yellow - once i'd done mine they are a buggar to clean!!! but look 100 times better painted

thanks guys, managed to pop them out, just need to paint them, are they ok to just clean and paint or do i need to do/use somthing special??

I cleaned mine with thinners, Just to get rid of grease/silicon etc

I just washed and dried normally, but needed loads of coats to spray 'em that way!

I did the same - only took 2 coats jobsa good un.
