Seen a pic of that car before and wondered the same thing. I think that is absolutely beautiful and I WANT those wheels!
Also it's hardly modified from standard (visually anyway) which goes to show the Type R is the best looking scooby ever (expect the 22b)

US Rear bumper skin was swapped out for a Jap Spec/UK spec/basically rest of the world rear bumper skin so that the spats would fit proper.
Side skirts were painted, as they do not come that way from the factory.
An aluminum hood was added as well as 22B vents because the 2.5RS stateside receives a STEEL hood.
An RB5 replica spoiler was added due to the US being jipped and receiving a standard STi Ver 4 style spoiler.
The Jap spec Red/clear taillights as well as the jap spec corner lenses were added due to the US receiving orange.
An STi V5/6 grill added due to the US getting a STi V4 style.
Now that is just the exterior... the interior had a similar treatment. STi V4 seats, STi V5 steering wheel, STi V5/6 gauge cluster... it has been a long process.
Basically, the Impreza 2.5RS was a mismosh of left over Impreza parts. They were put together and shipped to the states

I guess on the plus side, we get a sun roof!

I'm sure the car will never look the same as it did in those pictures. Those wheels have since been sold and I've purchased smaller 17" wheels

However, selling the wheels allowed me to purchase an EJ205 motor with AVCS to power her

As for the wheels, I've only found TE37 wheels on ebay in Japan going for about £1200 without tyres. These look pretty similar though, and are a bit cheaper....

Hey Si! Things are decent, finally have a turbo motor to put in and toss the N/A motor. Probably an EJ257 shortblock in the future. But for now, I've pretty much wasted my money

I'm swapping in the motor and tranmission in under a month, and hopefully it will the have power to back up the looks
