Default wrc turbo sound

Is it possible to get my car to make the same turbo noise as the wrc subaru?

erm, how long is a piece of string?

what car do you drive?

how much do you want to spend?

are you for real?

easy way, sell your car and buy a wrx.

More data would be very very very helpfull

If you are talking about the wastegate chatter noise then not easily. If you fit a Blitz super sound vent to atmosphere dump valve they give a similar sort of sound.

and run anti lag for a week so you get the correct level of bangs ........Of course it will eventually blow your engine into little pieces but in the meantime it will sound good.

Several routes:

Blow off valve (dump valve)
Apexi FC Commander - to adjust fueling and get unburnt fuel in the exhaust
GEMS/Motec ECU with Mild AntiLag - This would be my choice. Switchable too. But not very friendly on your car.

He said 'wrc' not 'wrx'.

If you're going to quote unquote someone at least read it properly

******* hell ... the guy asks a simple question of how to make his car make the turbo chirp sounds like the wrc car and you w@nkers rip him to pieces.

Not a good sign when somebody wanting information is flamed and then ripped as attempting to turn their car into a halfords wreck.

Nice to see the SNPS are out in force!!!

its a pity you couldnt channel your response into helping the guy, rather than banging on about puctuation!!!

who gives a flying,, if a comma or letter is interpolated or missed, you still managed to understand enough to post

When I see people having a flame at other people because their spelling or punctuation isn't correct I imagine the fat donut eating comic-book guy from the simpsons sitting wedged into his exectutive leather chair mercilessly scanning the digital forums for people making small errors and then chastising them for doing so. And in doing this he makes himself feel just that little bit above them and forgets for the slightest moment that he's a fat, disgusting waste of space with no friends.

Get out more, get a life, screw some chicks - there is more to life than flaming people for making spelling mistakes.

I suspect that would cost a lot of cash matey. I don't think a remap on a standard recirc dump valve would be able to make that type of difference.

I think I'm correct in assuming that the chirping is actually to do with the uber expensive wrc wastegate system, and not the actual release valve (dump valve) itself.

Sure one of the proper techy guys from on here will be along to answer this question soon.

Are you on drugs? You misread his post and completely misunderstood what he was asking. He already has a WRX, he wants to to sound like a WRC (a world rally car).

I didn't mention punctuation at all you nutter
