Is there anywhere, online preferably, that can source genuine Subaru parts for import classic WRX/STi at good prices? I've been looking into getting a new MAF (mine's a blue label version on a MY98 WRX wagon) but my local Subaru dealership want £250 roughly and I can't believe they cost that much. After, ALL Subarus are imports, so WRX prices shouldn't be that much more than Turbo 2000.
And the other thing is, with a Power FC and a VF35 on the way to replace the standard TD04 and 250PS wagon ECU, do different models of MAF have different properties. Perhaps using an STi 4 MAF would be better than trying to directly replace my WRX wagon one?
Any ideas? CHeers!

If you are getting a Power FC fitted, then why not go for a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo (Z32) MAF? I got one from ebay nearly new for £90 and that was sent from Japan. Last time I had my car mapped by Andy F, he recommended the Nissan MAF as the original was maxing out above 1.25bar. With a bit of luck, I'll be heading his way for fitting of the maf and a remap sometime next month.

So that is a direct drop in replacement? Or does it need chopping about to get it to fit? Would the standard ECU still run properly with a different MAF fitted?

You cannot change the oe maf for a different type without having it remapped.

Got it. So I could use the existing MAF for the moment then change to the Z32 once I remap. Therefore there's no point replacing the current MAF 'just in case', or changing to a different Subaru MAF before I change to a Power FC later in the year. Cheers!

OK next question then, what diameter is my current MY98 WRX MAF going to be? I know, I know, why don't I just go and measure it? Because it's not here at the moment so I can't.
Saw a cheap 76mm pipe but not sure if it's the same size as what I want.
