mum wakes me up around 9am this morning telling me by car has just been broken in to, so i get up in a harry, jus wearing my pant go outside and see that my front passenger side window is broken
the worse thing is notthing was taken, like me ice
so i thought ok atleast they never got away with my ice
then i go to my local autoglass place
they never had one in stock but could get it the same day
i asked them the price and guess what £397 + vat!!!
i didnt know wot to say
then ranf up budget they quoted £95 + vat
why such a big difference
why do ppl get a cick out of damaging property for no apparent reason

Reminds me of the time when I was much younger and still living at home. Mum comes home from working night shift (nurse) and says, wow must have been windy last night it's blown your window in.
Feckin gr8 all my ice and music nicked off the drive as well. lol

That blows mate, the scum on the prowl probably got disturbed before they could nick anything.
If you are looking to spend the extra, get yourself a dressing gown or something, you cant go walking about outside in just your pants - you will end up in a nice warm padded cell if you keep that up

Was your glass not covered by your insurance?
I had a Mk2 Astra that got broken into for a past-time.
Once was in Plymouth, when it was parked just round the corner from the main police station. Walked up to the car the following morning to find a note in the windscreen, saying that 2 bobbies had caught the scallywag, and could I pop into the station to make a statement! They broke a rear quarterlight and stole a torch out of the boot.
Another time in Exeter, someone kicked in one of the rear windows (actually kicked-in, there were footprints on the front window!). They rifled through the glovebox, and stole a cheep pair of sunglasses. I was amazed that the missed the extractable stereo which was sat underneath the drivers seat!
The car was borken into several more times at various places, but nothing was taken, it just added to my inconvinence to getting glass / locks replaced.
I did eventually invest in an alarm......
