Ultimate Impreza???

Guys and girls:
This is probably the oldest chestnut on the BBQ but what views do any of you have with a view to the ultimate Impreza?
We all know about the P1, RB5, Type R STi, STi VII and 22B etc. but which one is not only the quickest in a straight line (on paper and on the road), fastest through the twisties and quickest around a circuit ..etc.???
Just like to know your views! Has this ever been a feature in a car mag? (I remember Car doing something a few years ago but is a little out of date now, had the Type R version IV as the ultimate back then).

One of the members here, HyperRex i think his name is.
He's got some mental STi Type R with full 22B body kit and its SO heavily modded by Jun.
There was a big thread on it somewhere in the members gallery.
