Question

Has anyone got the Cliffnet Wizard software to enable me to plug a laptop into my new Clifford alarm (for a play about with the settings). The URL suggested in the manual doesn't work so I'd be grateful if anyone could email me the software. Thanks.

Cancel that, I found the software. Though if anyone else has the same trouble - let me know and I'll email it to you.

yes Ken, I'd be interested in details of the lead too... (I have the software).
There can't be much in it - probably RS232 driver...
Anyone any idea what this lead costs to buy (don't like the sound of that word.. )?
Cheers
Rich

hmm.. that didn't come out right - meant to say 'no Ken, but ..'

I have just purchased a clifford 500. You will need a PC interface, this will then have a socket near your dash to enable you to plug the cable into. The cable and software comes with the kit.
Unfortunatly even though the website and info states that the clifford can plug into the PC, it doesn't state you need a interface, which costs £50 extra.

I downloaded the demo version of the program from the website a while ago.

Very clever bit of kit, if you have a laptop handy!

Is the lead USB based? As my laptop only handles this terminator.
