All you people with gauge pods, how did you get it to colour match the dash?

53wrx with center pod. Tried halfords dashpaint but it isn't right. Its not black either. Tried 6 different tins of paint from them now. If I don't find it soon I'll have to buy shares in them.

So, where did you get the pod painted and what did you use?
