PPP'd or not - help me
#1
Is there any way to tell if my car has been fitted with the PPP goodies?
It is a MY96 and when I bought it the sales ticket said "Prodrive upgrade", but unfortunately, because the dealership had just folded, no one could find the documentation or tell me anything about it. One bonus was £3.5K off the ticket price (well it was at the time but it's lost all that with the price slump ).
Can anyone help, bearing in mind that the exhaust might have been changed again in the last 4 years.

(hoping i'm PPP'd)

do you mean with the Chip?...
if yes..then..do the following:-
put the car into 3rd gear....allow the rev counter to show 2000 rev's..then hit the accelerator...if the car deliver's power right through to red line with no lag or hesitation then it has the chip....(torque is what the chip gives)remember it has to be smooth and you have to be able to 'feel' the accelaration.
hope this helps
