DO YOU WAVE TO EVO'S?
After owning a scooby for about 6 months now i'm used to waving and being waved to from other scoobys...............
However i have on the odd occasion been waved to by evo drivers, but when i have waved to evo's i've been met by a glare! lol
Any thoughts?

I do. After owning my STI for 10mins, pulled into the petrol station to fill up, next bay was an Evo8, gave the nod (as you do), both said nice car, then away we went.
Think its great having this respect to each other, it shows we all have the same love of proper performance cars, just one is better than the other!
SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI TYPE UK WR BLUE FLAT 4 etc etc

Weird really, maybe its just Essex but i get waves from everyone in a performance car,
Scoobys, EVOs, Cossies, Porsches etc, even had a Gallardo flash and wave @ me last week.
Maybe people are not so friendly in other parts of the country

UK Spec Evo 8 drivers tend to be grumpy gits, half of them are reps these days

Maybe they are warning you of a police speedtrap ahead? That's the only time people wave at me

Would you mind if I did that to you when you exceed the speed limit?

I guess the issue is whether it is safer to drive quickly whilst 100% aware of the road conditions or to drive within the speed limits whilst your mind (and your hands) is on your mobile phone or, worst still, on texting with your 'phone.
I personally think the latter is more dangerous.
One other point, I might be a little more accepting of this type of behaviour if they were driving carefully. But much of the time they are travelling as quickly as those who are going faster than observed speed limit anyway! This makes them doubly dangerous.

I was pointing out that if a person does 61mph in a 60 limit should the rest of the world give him the same treatment?
Its not relevant which you think is the most dangerous its more about the reaction to it ... ..........
