Default Why would a key not work?

My main key stopped working. My spare still works. Tried the battery, that wasn't it.

Reprogrammed both keys. Both work now.

Am worried now in case it stops working again when I away from home.

Any ideas?

Were you marked near a mast or a receiver of some sort. These scan block out the signal.

That is wierd, the same happened to me at Christmas. I have not yet fixed the key, I am just using my spare at the moment, asuming that it was just the battery. Car is getting serviced in 2 weeks - was going to get it sorted then. Car is 2 years old BTW, is yours about the same?
