Get a UK Turbo upto 280bhp :

"The mods that make it to 280bhp are:
Full 5inch exhaust
HKS SSQV Dumpvalve
STI Bottom End- This provides alot of bhp. "


??

FULL 5" EXHAUST....................



The my of car would help...possibility of ecu tek is the sensible way.

Not the mods you have listed above

P Plate, 97, so what do you think it will be pushing out. This is car im looking at buying but i thought his estimate was a little hopeful!

prob be aroud 220 - 240 bhp depending on if it is fully decated or not dump valve wont release any bhp. Sti bottom end is prob stronger but no different unless ecu is remapped.

Thats what i thought, id have guessed at 230....

You need a full decat mate forget the chavvy dumpvalve am STi or Green panel filter and a suitable remap from either Bob Rawle, Powerstation, Andy F etc.

should get around that figure

Hmm it does have a full decat but the owners not sure if its been remapped or not as it was done before he got the car.

If he desn't know whats been done to his own car,then I'd be inclined to give it a very wide berth!particulary if he's quoting bullsh!t power figures

Bear in mind that when standard, your car will probably be well under the quoted power output because of its age. Your exhaust mod may only bring you back up to 205 bhp or whatever your standard output should be.
