Prodrive and Pete Croney gave the designer a few beers. Hired hypnotist and told him that Hyundai and Toyota make great looking cars.
Just feel gutted, that knowing how bad it looked I should started my own plastic moulding business before now.
1) all the correctly painted parts I could of supplied for the P1
2) the number of rear spoilers for the new Impreza could of made 2002 and beach year.

Yep, it does look better without the bodywork and this version is a lot lighter too. The driver still has his comfort (but the wife is destined to fetch a cold, it's kinda windy on her 'chair'). Doesn't matter to me. I must have it, if only because it's half as ugly. (it must run a better mpg!)

Ive just seen the new impreza at the launch in Hongkong.
Driven very hard round a wet carpark, there is a significant amount of body roll under hard braking/acceleration. This is not the STi model though, although it looked like one with the daft wing stuck on the back.
So much for the 200% stiffer chassis...if the suspension is too soft which is how it looked.
Image wise, it looks better than the pictures on the web but worse than the current model, IMHO.
