From: They may be out, but work "mates" keep thrusting them back in :o(
Haven't owned a Scooby for long but my favorite trick is sit at the lights giving the eye and slightly reving
Then watching your "opponant" roar away and then I just gently pull away
Its gives me imense pleasure and I am sure the other guy tells all his mates he has "done" a Scooby

Yup, pretty much anyone in any POS that has an interest in cars will either fancy their chances or just want you to entertain them. Best to ignore it, but I didn't last night with the 4.0l BMW 5 series on my way to w*rk And I slightly bogged on launch and fluffed my 3rd gear
Where's mi flame suit
Where's mi flame suit

I get all sorts of shed's trying it on but most times i won't entertain as they aint worth petrol.

Great car, had it nearly 3 years, replaced it with something which has already payed for itself and now its free motoring all the way....
Besides when I bought the scoob there were probably 4 or 5 in my town. Now there are probably 15-20 and 50% of those are driven by the reverse baseball cap brigade.
Not the car for me anymore ......

Whenever I see another I remember it mate........but then I look at my bank balance and I smile again.
My next 'proper' car will be light enough to use on track which is what I really want from a car. The scoob wasn't built for that im afraid. Mind you before I buy that car I have a hankering for my mates E36 M3 ..... However in the meantime i'm really enjoying driving my £350 run around. You know what, I bloody mean that too, makes me smile everytime I drive it.

With Gary on this one - departed Scooby-land last week. Got myself a subtle sleeper that willl suprise quite a few motors.
Certainly don't miss the "attention" I used to get from what I can affectionately refer to a "motor-*******".....
I'm already enjoying watching/reading posts like this!

Had 6 years of it in 2 different Scoobs - wouldn't change it for the world.
Scoobs don't have the image they used to - and there is more to driving than racing everything on the road

Going back to the original question, i now have 'dad' in his people carrier trying it on, sitting 2 inches from my bumper
I really can't be bothered with it, so let him go past....with the wife and 4 kids in the car looking as white as ghosts!!!
