How can i tell if a Type UK has a PPP fitted? I know Subaru were offering it free at one point, but did they all have it? How can i tell, thanks.

If it has an STi BB then it almost certainly isn't PPP'd. Other bits are harder to spot. Uprated fuel pump, remap chip, decat centre section and high flow DP. A quick call to any Subaru dealer and they can check on the service register whether it's been PPP'd or not, and if it has and you don't have a certificate they can get a replacement.

HTH.

Look for the high flow cat downpipe in the engine bay, just behind the turbo you will see a heat lagged round thing. Oh and of course you need the certificate.

Here is the thing...

In the service manual should be stamped.

Never seen that, the certificate should be put in the manual though.
