Morning All,

My name is Richie and I am a new memeber to the forum. Great site by the way, with lots of good info.

I have just rid of my first ever love of a car and am looking for something much better. My old car a Vauxhall Astra (I can hear the groans - lol) was great, but I want something more exciting, something that is great without the need to modify because im getting a little too old for that - and I was pointed in the direction of a Subaru.

I know nothing about Imprezas, but I love the look of them, and the fact you can have 4 wheel drive.
I have a few questions and was wondering if anybody could help? Id just like to know if there are any certain things I should look out for when buying an Impreza, any recommendations on model I should buy etc etc. I am a complete newbie, so I have little knowledge.

I have been warned that servicing etc can be expensive, I am not sure how true this is.

I will have approx 9K to spend on a new car in about a month.

Any help would be great. Thanks for reading.

Richie

Welcome to the site Richie best thing to do is search through the various sections on here, I'm sure all your questions will have answers somewhere.

Servicing can be expensive if you use a main dealer, but find out if there any non-franchise Subaru specialists near you, or as a lot people on here, do regular oil changes yourself
