Default covers....??

Just lining up fog covers for a classic'00 and the long screw supplied doesnt line up with the screw fixing the fog lights in (i thought it was just gonna replace the fog fixing screw). Am i supposed to just screw into the bumper?? near the fixings for the log light?

anyone done this?

You are supposed to use the fixing bracket suppied by subaru for the covers. The bracket shares one of the foglight fixing bolts and has the small hole for the cover bolt
