Default can you be of assistance

i have noticed a slight knocking from my engine when cold and slightly warm so im guessin i am now due a rebuild before it goes pop as i am now out of work for the time being i just wondered if anyone could give me the list of parts i would need for my rebuild and price if at all possible.. also if there are any decent things i can do to increase bhp torque or whatever while she is in bits could you please advise me of my options.
and with a 95 wrx import what turbo do they come with as standard TD04 or TD05

I'm pretty sure its a TD04. and you really dont want to rebuilding a engine if your on a limited income.

get it looked at, it mite just need a good service , you never know !!

API will do a rebuild for £2350 ......

Upgraded parts will add to the cost no doubt ......

Sadly, a 95 Import isn't going to be worth spending £2000+ on really??

Sounds like piston slap, a common fault that a lot of owners live with.
On the other hand it could be something simpler (and cheaper) like the belt tensioner starting to fail.
