Free K&N filter from datemy plate
Just received an e-mail from datemyplate offering a free filter. E-mail was as follows...
Hi Subaru Drivers from all at DateMyPlate!
We have been asked to find out if anyone from DMP would like to help out the world leading airfilter company K&N in finding some cars for them to test a re-release of performance filters on.
We should be getting more cars as and when they need them, But the following ones are needed at the moment.
We are looking for
Subaru Impress H4 2.0 F/I March 1994 – 1997
Subaru Impreza WRX 2.0 1993 – 1997 Japan Import Spec to revamp 2
If you quallify you will receive the redesigned kit for your car FREE OF CHARGE for helping out.
If you have any of the above cars and this interests you, please email in to us and we will pass your details on to K&N c/o DateMyPlate.Com & Northwest-Modified. If you have any friends who may be interested in this too, please forward this email to them.

Is this K&N deal for real?
Of all the channels K&N could of gone through, I find it hard to believe they would select something like this. Scoobynet or SIDC would make more sense

they have just contacted me.
there is a free filter to be had, but you need to give them your car for 2 days!! they offered me a courtesy car, but they will be driving your car without you being there, and they will be putting it on a rolling road, if it goes pop whilst its there they will cover costs, but you just dont know what ware its putting on the engine, and the fact you cant be there to watch them put me right off.
its very open for them to hammer the **** out of your car for a free air filter.
I respectfully declined their offer.
