Default remap next week.

my car is getting remapped next week...its a my93 wrx with the following mods...

blitz nur spec r system....(full decat)
ported headers and upipe...(heatwrapped)
blitz sus ind kit
uprated fuel pump
uprated fuel press regulater
fuel cut defender
manual boost controller

all i wanted too know was would i have to get rid off any of the mods before i get it mapped or should i just leave them on.

thanks in advance.

Probably best to speak to the mapper. Some mappers view MBC as 'band-aid' devices and others as a reliable method of boost control.

You should be ok with that setup mate. May need some bigger Injectors but depends on what figures your aiming at. On that year of car you do need something to up the boost as the standard map sensor only goes to 1bar. The manual boost is the cheapest but if you are getting a power fc you will only be able to have one map. I have gone for an electronic boost controller on mine. The Apexi AVCR seems to be the best but there are others. You wont need the fuel cut defencer when its been mapped either, but they will remove that.

If you want to go above 1.2 bar and I assume you are having a 'scoobyECU' type custom remap then I suggest getting hold of a MY97/8 MAP sensor and rescaling the ECU. Best ask the mapper about this

I doubt you will get much more than that on the standard injectors mate. 440's max out at 335bhp.
