Not here for a flaming session excuse the pun, but

When installing a flame kit is it possible to mount the spark plug before the rear box out of sight or will this damage the internals of the box?

Might damage your street cred to mount it..... *full stop*

I would stick with the tried and tested route mate, less chance of things going t!ts up that way.

Cheers,
Grant

Yea, to be honest... they are a bit of a laugh and I would have fitted one to my last Scoob for a bit of fun, but I couldnt bring myself to drill a hole in my Blitz NUR Spec R that I'd just bought for it.

I'm not sure how your exhaust sits on your STi7 but a guy up here with an angled Afterburner B/Box on an STi8 has a Flamer Kit fitted and its not noticeable at all. Would have thought it would be very similar on the V7, unless you have a straight exit, smaller diameter back box on yours.

Cheers,
Grant

You can just see above my box, between the bumper.

Not sure, however, how many people will be looking at the car from that height?? Probably not many at that level..

Sure, you'll know its there, but unless you're really looking for it and get up close to the exhaust I dont think it would be too noticeable to a casual observer to be honest.

Grant
