Ive just had a quick look around my engine as ive been having probs with a burning oil smell (as some of you will know from my last Thread) and ive noticed now that there is Oil on My Plug that goes into the exhaust pipe (right next to turbo) and also has a oil patch on the Pipe directly above it!!!!

Im gonna take my Intercooler off and investigate, How easy is this???

Ive heard its literally a 20 min job to remove?? Is this right??? and what do you reckon is causing this on my99 classic turbo????

Yep, it's a ten minute job to get it off, about 20 to put it back.

Can't say what it could be, check oil feeds to turbo, also plugged hole over No.3 cylinder, and cylinderhead/rocker cover gaskets.

cheers mate, Gonna wait till it cools down as I would rather smell oil than Flesh!!!

Not sure where you're on about but under the IC there is the crankcase breather hose that normally has some oil seepage around it onto the block..?

Take some pics if possible.
