Default Sti Type Uk Buyers Guide

Can you owners help me out on what to look for on the 03 STi Type UK?

knocking from the rear suspension is 1 thing and the trackstar completely draining the battery in a very short time is another.

I think there was a re-call for possible loose oil pipes,apart from that same as any other used car

I havn't heard about the re-call for loose oil pipes!

My only advice is try and get one with PPP. As I found out when I bought my 53 Plate STI without it your missing out on a better ride. And then you find your spending another £2K and sometime at the garage to have it fitted.

The recall was for the oil connections to the variable valve unit, only on specific chassis numbers though.

My advise is DON'T! Buy a JDM one instead, its a better car

Yes it is a good car But the JDM is the same car with more toys, better engine etc...
