I have a 03 WRX with Ecutek, decat mid-pipe & Prodrive backbox.
I just started the car and the CEL stayed on, started it again a couple of times and it still stayed on. Gave it a rest, started it again and it went off, went in the house to lock up, came out and started it again and it stayed on again.
Any ideas what this could be? It's booked in for a service a week on Monday but I need to know if it's safe to drive.
I'll probably take it down to Power Engineering on Monday morning for a quick check.

Update - I took my car to Power Engineering this morning where Chris plugged in the DeltaDash and diagnosed a "Knock Sensor Fault (low signal)". It cleared with an ECU reset and didn't reappear despite some enthusiastic driving afterwards.
The only explanation that we could come up with was that I had used some Sainsburys SUL instead of the usual Optimax and this had changed the knock characteristics enough for the sensor to register it. Needless to say I'm sticking with Optimax from now on.
Many Thanks to PE who were excellent as usual.

I would expect that error means your ECU found a problem with the sensor _not_ what is being detected by the sensor.
I'm not an expert in fault codes just a techie ;-) so suggest you get more advice from people that will know.
