KnockLink
Hi - as a newbie I have been doing a search around the site and have found lots of posts on the KnockLink.
I actually don't think the device would make much odds in real world driving, but - I do very much like the idea of a set of lights flashing on my dashboard.
It would be seriously imprezive when my mates are in the car and my girlfriend will think that it is a special rally car if the lights flash on and off.
Now, I have read that the device is fully adjustable as to whether lights appear or not (which is also the reason it's useless as a genuine piece of kit, clearly) - but, how do I judge the adjustment to get a full set of lights just when I need them? say at the lights revving with my mates and girl in the car?
Can someone think of a footswitch to click the lights on in some way?
I think the KnockLink can seriously lift my profile when I go to MaccyDs Car Park, so - please help, no **** taking - this is serious credibility stuff here.

LOL
Turn the sensitivity right up then it will flash like a christmas tree, or get one of those nodding duck things from the 70s and get it to nod and tap the sensor that will result in all the lights flashing regularly.

Right - I've just found out how much the KnockLink Random Light Generator costs ... don't think I'll bother!
I think I'll buy a LED Battery Indicator, with Green, Amber and Red lights - then, when I rev up they will light up the scale ..... will look like a KnockLink, but be actually useful to keep an eye on the voltage levels. Much cheaper too!
This is a good site - that GC8 bloke seems a bit 'up-his-own-****' doesn't he? I've not been around long but I bet he could be a bunny boiling stalker .. what do you reckon?

Pete, as this little ego trip lasted <12 hrs why don't you just be a man for once and stop hiding behind the BS. I take it you've heard the phrase 'when at the bottom stop digging'..?
BTW nice try claiming you're banned from the MX5 BBS. Not to worry you can use your clever aliases over there too. Maybe they'll last a little longer..?
Saddo..!

Do Police Impreza's have KnockLinks fitted - I guess they must have???
Wow, what an advert for them - wonder why they don't advertise the fact???
You don't think that the Police Mechanics think it's just a '***** toy' ..... do you??
