Does anyone have any pics of lunya's i.e with different wheels!
Would be interest to know what people think of this car & how many visiters to this site own them. Any reply would make me smile (easily pleased)

A picture of number 73 with 17in Speedline Superturismos.
a big improvement on the standard 15in alloys which were actually ones from the Sport sprayed gold.
Further pictures on http://www.iwoc.co.uk/catalunya.html

Don't take this the wrong way I'm sure i'am wrong but you said yours is number 202, i thought they only made 200(199 200 - no.13)
Would be interested in your experiences, not had the car long 8 weeks ish, so not alot for me to say
Do you get any probs with the 17's rubbing with passengers in the back

C74 - No offence taken mate, before I bought it I too was scratching me head and questioning it's validity.
The story goes - didn't make a 13 so made a 201, and here I've had 2 different stories, the first that 169 got written off just after leaving the production line, or second that 113 wasn't made either, so they added another on at the end hence 202!! I have a letter from Subaru claiming the latter, so I'll go with that one.
I plumped for the Technomags as I wanted something a little different and yes any 17" yes makes the Cat stand out compared to the standard 15"ers.
To be honest I can say it only ever rubbed once which happened when fully laden (5up) exitting a roundabout at speed and the suspension compressed extremely on the surface camber change. Other than that occasion never.
I've had mine for 20 months now, and ownership has been relatively trouble free, except I recently discovered I'm way down on boost. It went in today to be checked and I'll find out tomorrow what's up with it.
Cueball.

Hi Riclaw,
Yes mate, it's documented here http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?threadid=30167
I was fortunate that it only cost me labour charges to diagnose.
Are you having boost probs?
Cueball.

Hi Cueball,
Glad to hear it's fixed. Don't think my cats got any prob with boost, but then i've not had it long, so would'nt really know if it had. Only other impreza ive been in was a wrx, & that felt quicker, but i find it does been a passenger. Any way, how do you know what boost yours is at? have you fitted gauge or was it from rolling road session, do some impreza's come with boost gauge as standard. if you fitted yours how much was it, appreciate the help

Hi,
Yeah I only found out after fitting a gauge, which I fitted as it was a growing suspicion I had that all wasn't well. WRX do feel stronger, and the early ones with the larger laggier turbo feel more urgent when on boost. You're right tho from the passenger seat I always think it feels more impressive.
No Impreza is fitted with a boost gauge as standard, there are several aftermarket types available in either mechanical or electronic form. A search on here should find more info on what's common/popular. I fitted a relatively cheap item from www.scoobyparts.com which is mechanical (took about 20 mins to fit - a hose from the intake manifold to the gauge), but it served the purpose I needed it for.
Cube.

This is No 185:
http://www.ngauge.uk.btinternet.co.uk/images/ba9.jpg
It's now got the Motorsport 17" wheels .... which replaced the lovely gold 17" Speedline Supertourismos that I used to have and loved dearly

If possible, could you contact me, either email or let me have your email address, Regarding your old Cat, you've mentioned in other posts that your's was No 74, if this is true then the car on the link you provided was that yours, though it says you bought no 73. Have i got things mixed up or not. The ironic part of this is that i looked at your cat page for hours b4 buyin no 74 in August.
Is this the car i bought?
Cheers

Thanks Pete.
She's a beauty isn't she
Had to take her out for a celebratory drive last night. Can't tell you how good it felt to be back behind the wheel ... was beginning to think I'd never experience that again.

I am the proud owner of Cat 159.
Put silver 17" MY01 wheels on it this weekend (bought from Dave T-S) and it makes the car look terrific! No evidence of rubbing, even with the 215/45 tyres. Haven't got a picture, will try post one at some point though, just to show it off like!
Glad to hear Rebecca got hers back - congrats!

Cat looks nice, v clean looking, best look in my opinion, not into big flarey stuff. What happend to the Gold, fancy a change? or did you have probs with them
Cheers for the pic
Catalunya 74,
the reason I changed the gold wheels was cos you can't fit 4 pot brakes under the old Speedlines
