Default UK300 or MY03 WRX with STI bits?

It's all the budget will stretch too.

There's a lovely UK300 on 30K near me for £12K

For the same money I could get hold of a MY03 WRX and change the bodywork to the much more aggresive STI (But not badge it as such, I'm not doing it because of a wanna be! Just find a standard WRX looks a bit dull)

I take it the UK300 would hold it's value better?

What's the deal with the UK300, good reputation?
Would it be sacriledge to change it in any way?

CLICKY

Only needs the corner aero-splitters (£140) and bigger scoop. Offer me full asking and I'll throw in the STi alloys with RE070's too. I cannot stress enough how good this car handles over a run-of-the-mill WRX, and even over standard STi's. The power has been left standard at the PPP 265PS to retain reliability, but the chassis and suspension mods make it much faster than cars with big power mods.

Not a million miles off, though it is blue and I'd much rather a Silver WRX just to be a bit different.
I need to shift the wife's CLio 172 and then I'll have cash to play with! PM me with your number. Is mileage mentioned?

You can get an 05 WRX for £13500 so for £12k I'd be looking for 53/04.

Good Luck and enjoy.

Funny, just looked on Autotrader and mine's still the second cheapest WRX with PPP on there, and the only one with the awesome AST/Whiteline suspension package that transforms the WRX into a car that will demolish STi's on the road, without any more power required and total reliability. There was an 04 for £14k, and no 05's within my search criteria (£9-14k, upto 3yo, under 60k, WRX, PPP/Prodrive, trade & private).

A new member to the forum has just bought an 05WRX for £13500. Fair enough no PPP, but it wouldn't make much difference on price as Subaru were offering PPP free on new cars for most of last year.

Anyway good luck with the sale. Not trying to pi$$ anyone off, merely stating a few observations.

ewan

P.S. have recently sold my 0505 WRX PPP + PFF7s

1 black WRX for £13,295 and thats it as far as i can see.

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW...ch_full=SEARCH

As for the PPP not making a difference. It was a limited offer from may till the 55 regs came out was it not?? then back on again to indrease the sales after the initial new reg new car drop off....

Therefore im guessing that when selling, that the fact it has PPP will make ot easier to sell and you will be able to stand by a slightly higher asking price as the vast majority out there dont seem to have the PPP fitted. On the
WRX that is

That's horrifically underpriced IMO, and the guy must be either desperate to sell or stupid enough to believe Glass's/CAP guide prices. The next 05 on that link is £15.5k FFS

there are alot out there with cat D damage that are not advertised....

i went to look at loads, 2 were damaged and the owner failed to tell me before traveling more than 70 miles in both cases that they had been damaged.

53 and 04 plates going for similar money, £12,000 to £13,000 mark

it was shocking
