Hi all, went to Astons today and he made a template of WRX and sprayed it onto the intercooler, it has come out really well I think. I also did my de tango and sprayed the headlights black too about a month or so ago and still no condensation! I braved it and used the oven method and it has worked a treat.

Why spray WRX on the intercooler to have STi on the fog lamp covers..?

Nice detango! Did mine before the winter and no condensation. Left mine chrome. Not too sure about the black. Has anyone done them in body colour? Can't decide whether this would look OK or not.

 

Because its a WRX, and the fog lamp covers came with the STI logo on them and i havent took them of yet. Normaly I dont drive with the bonnet open so you wouldnt see the WRX on the intercooler at the same time as the STi on the front, but cheers for the effort in pointing that out! Its something I know i need to do but not got around to it!

None mate but at least I wont look like every other scooby out there, Not everyone has the ***** to open up their set of lights using an oven!, or wants to even do the mod. Be individual. Just because you dont get extra horses doesnt mean its wrong.

Great lights.I wouldn't have the courage to put mine in the oven so well done.. Car looks great. as a matter of interest my 4 yr old reckons ita an Almera parked next to it in the last pic.. Is he right?
