Question 'sport' strutbrace - Does one exist ?

Has anyone ever seen a strutbrace specifically for an impreza sport ?

I've just bought an 02STi that has a brace that fits over the intercooler and wondered if it might be a 'sport' item -

I guess I'm thinking that it might be a specific sport item, since it doesn't bend around the intercooler.

This one just goes directly (i.e. in a straight line) between the suspension strut tops - blocking the air between the scoop and the i/c.....

If its for a sport, then I'll stick it in for-sale - though it sounds like I could sell it for a sport anyhow - I wouldn't recommend it to a turbo owner, unless they've fitted an FMIC I suppose.....

Its actually fitted to the car I've bought - be interesting if the previous owner has fitted a rear brace to the front struts !

It'll be coming off either way, but I don't want to sell it as a turbo item, as I wouldn't be happy to buy it and then find it fits over the top of the i/c

It lifts over the top of the I/C, so maybe it goes over the airbox ?
The problem with the I/C idea is that it goes through the 'air-flow' zone between the scoop and the I/C......

Looks like I might be removing it and just binning it !

If that makes any practical difference to anything then I will eat my Arai. Strut braces like that serve no purpose other than to line the pocket of the skankers that sell them. To work effectively a brace needs to be triangulated against the bulkhead/firewall.
