Help - Burble!!
Just picked up my new MY06 STI (type UK)!
Can't wait to get the first 1000 miles out of the way! That bloody rev limiter is constantly flashing & bleeping at me (4000 revs)!!
My only grumble is the loss of the burble! If I change the back box will it come back?? Help please???
Cheers

Nice car ,lose the wheels though ;-)
It will just be louder if you get a backbox but won't have the burble.
The new Subarus have equal length headers/manifolds. The way to get the burble is to buy an unequal length one as other older subarus have.
Be very very careful to get a good quality one though.

ALL subaru's have little burble with the standard exhaust on, you need to change if you want the burble, but check with the garage to see how much it affects your warranty, if IM are picky they could just invalidate your whole warranty for having a none approved exhaust!
